While camping at the USFS Deep Creek campground along the Toccoa River (near Suches, GA) a cold front passed through. In the morning I awoke to a light frost dusting some cooler areas of the campground. An early morning walk around the campground (which I had to myself) produced some frosty-leafy photos. That cold morning and chilly night also led to an upcoming post and discussion about sleeping bags. I think it's about time for a new one...*brr*

i took the kindergartners out with magnifying glasses to observe the frost on Tuesday in the schoolyard. The sun on the crystals was beautiful! I took a few shots. Yours are much better!
Nice photos. There's not enough humidity for things to frost in the Dry Valleys... or darkness for that matter. Then again, there's not much other than rock and ice here, so it's a moot point. (:
